Untold Stories from Gaza “From Zero Distance”

The Palestinian Cultural Enlightenment Forum, in partnership with FilmLab Palestine, is organising a screening of the film ‘From a Distance of Zero’, directed by Rashid Al-Mashharawi.
This project arose from the realisation that the voices of the people of Gaza are rarely heard, so it is necessary and important to document their experiences to preserve memory, as writing the history of the occupation of Palestine can only be done by writing the history of Palestine, and since Gaza is a thriving creative space, which includes a wide range of artistic talents that must continue to create, the idea of this project came to include 22 films telling short stories of 3-6 minutes each, this approach allows for diverse perspectives, and presents different creative ideas that combine different genres, focusing on telling hidden and hidden stories during the ongoing war on our Palestinian people. It is worth mentioning that the film is being screened on the same day in ten Palestinian cities.
