“Awareness Meeting”

The legal advisor organized an awareness meeting at the civil society association in collaboration with the Union of Health Work Committees, where (14) women attended. They were introduced to the services of the Support and Psychological Counseling Unit, which provides legal and psychological consultations, holds awareness meetings, and discusses the Personal Status Law. They were briefed on its provisions regarding marriage, alimony rights, guardianship, custody, inheritance, etc. They agreed on a series of legal workshops to further discuss the contents of the Personal Status Law. Among their recommendations was the identification of institutions that provide free consultations, and they committed to attending many awareness workshops to benefit from the information.
